금일 그리드(GRID)라는 엔터테인먼트 회사에 131레이블이 자회사로 편입되게 되었습니다. 이는 아이오케이 산하에서 독립하고 두 번째 자회사 편입입니다.
두 번째 자회사 편입을 결정하게 된 가장 큰 이유는 아티스트의 성장과 발전을 위한 투자를 아낌없이 할 수 있는 시스템 구축이었습니다. 1인 아티스트 회사는 외부에서 보기에 경영적으로 리스크가 크며 투자나 발전하는 요인이 떨어져서 기업 가치가 저평가됩니다. 이는 아티스트의 성과와 벨류와는 완전히 다른 비즈니스에서의 장기적 시선이었습니다. 이러한 시선을 그리드 투자자들과도 긴밀하게 논의해 왔습니다.
131은 그리드의 지원과 협력을 바탕으로 팬 여러분들이 그동안 느끼신 불편과 여러 이슈들을 보완하기 위해 팬팀과 마케팅팀 등의 전문적인 추가 인력 고용예정입니다. 더불어 매니지먼트 활동 및 제작비 지원 등 아티스트 성장에 필요한 부스터 역할을 그리드 자회사 편입을 통해 만들어 갈 수 있다고 확신합니다.

Artist B.I has played a pivotal role in fostering the growth and establishment of 131 label. Thanks to your unwavering love and support throughout our journey, we have triumphed over countless challenges, whether it be concerns or negative perceptions.
Today, we proudly announce that 131 has become a subsidiary label under the entertainment company called GRID. This move marks our second subsidiary, following our independence from IOK Company.
The primary reason behind this decision was to establish a system that enables us to make ample investment in the growth and development of our cherished artists. A one-person artist companies are often perceived as a significant business risk from an external perspective, lacking the necessary factors for investment and growth, ultimately resulting in an undervalued company. This long-term misperception arises from the business side and diverges from the artist’s individual achievement and value. We’ve extensively discussed this with GRID’s investors as well.
With the fortified support and collaboration of GRID, 131 plans to employ an additional team of professionals in fan relations as well as marketing, to diligently address any inconveniences and issues that our fans may have previously encountered. Moreover, we firmly believe that this integration with GRID will empower us to fulfill the role of boosting the artist’s growth including management activities and financial support.
